In December 2024, Lanswood took on the exciting responsibility of becoming the new owners of Lexden Wood Golf Club in Colchester. Surrounded by the beautiful Essex countryside, the 18-hole parkland course is known for its natural charm and rewarding play, welcoming golfers of all abilities.

Taking on the club has been a welcome challenge for Lanswood, offering the opportunity to grow and adapt in new ways while broadening our perspective as a company. Since then, we have invested in improvements to the course, clubhouse, and wider facilities, ensuring a better experience for members and visitors. This journey has not only enhanced Lexden Wood’s reputation but has also allowed us to strengthen our connection with the local community and open our minds to fresh opportunities.
